WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“While in high school I always thought that football was the only thing that I had as a great learning experience for life, but I was wrong. Mr. Brown’s carpentry class has helped me view the world from a completely different perspective. The main thing that we were taught was that in today’s world it is best to have experience in different work fields. With different working experiences you will always have something to fall back on. Knowing that now, I continue to try new things that will help me in the future.”
~ Jacquan Hargeaves, Richmond, Virginia

“Participating in John Brown’s carpentry class was truly a remarkable experience. As a public school teacher taking a night class, the class was well organized, informative, and true a hands-on experience. With building a tool shed, I learn how to nail, paint, and seal. These skills enable
me to replace the boards on my front, paint my bathroom, and seal my countertop in the kitchen. I can truly say that I learned a lot taking his class.”
