
CARPENTRY, OSHA 10, WORKPLACE READINESS SKILLS CERTIFICATION
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The 5C's Carpentry, OSHA 10 Card, Workplace Readiness Skills Program is a special course designed to help you earn multiple certifications. Carpentry prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to layout, cut, frame floors, walls,
roofs, and door and window openings. The course also teaches how to install and repair wooden structures
while using hand and power tools. Students will have hands-on experience building an 8 x 10 x 7 toolshed
with a window and door. They will also install roof materials. Students will have the opportunity to earn the
construction OSHA-10 safety card and learn how to transition from training to a professional environment
through the introduction of 21st century job readiness skills.
